Description

I find my homemade shake n vac leaves the floor smelling fresher which is something I love considering I have two dogs! I give it a good shake before I use it and then just literally shake it over my carpet, leave it for a couple of minutes (some people leave overnight) and then hoover it up. Glade Shake n' Vac is a powdered carpet freshener. The powder is shaken onto the carpet before vacuuming. It is marketed and sold in the United Kingdom by S. C. Johnson & Son. [1] First sold in 1979, the product became well known because of its popular "Dancing Woman" television commercial during the 1980s, and the television advert was voted one of the most popular in Britain. [2] Advertising [ edit ] Your favourite essential oil – again the amount depends on how much you’re making. As a guide, I used about 15 drops in my 250g sized shaker. At the time this advert was being made Logan was in a leading role at the London West End's Cambridge Theatre as Velma Kelly in the first British production of Chicago.

Edited to add: I just remembered the Nescafe adverts too (or at least I think it was Nescafe). Were they the ads that were like a mini soap opera with a blossoming romance over the space of a few years? Mindful Ingredients

Today I’m going all nostalgic on you and sharing some TV ads from my youth which I bet lots of you of a certain age will remember just as well as I do. The reason I’m sharing them is that I’ve made a batch of my own homemade Shake n Vac and the whole time I was making and using it, I couldn’t help but sing the song. SVHC is a substance (identified by the European Chemicals Agency) that may have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment. SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are: Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. In 2009 she was in the touring show Cabaret, playing Fraulein Schneider. In 2009, she appeared on The Justin Lee Collins Show, as a blast from the past. In 2010, Logan was involved in celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original Shake n' Vac advertisement.

Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or When I make my homemade shake n vac, I build it up in layers for a couple of reasons – (a) so the lovely essential oil smell is distributed evenly through the baking powder and (b) so that I don’t end up with a clump where the essential oils are added that is hard to get rid of. **

And my all time favourite advert, the original version of the Milky Way ad that I remember so well: Other TV acting credits include Edna, the Inebriate Woman, Pennies From Heaven as Irene, the friend of Joan ( Gemma Craven), Lovejoy, Never the Twain, Park Ranger, London's Burning and the John Sullivan comedy Roger Roger. She also had small roles in the films The Raging Moon (1971) and Parting Shots (1999).
